Panforte: “Panforte” is a typical cake from medieval times, created in the city of Siena, in Tuscany.
It was made with the new flavors, introduced when spices arrived from the east.
It is a rich substantial cake, which has become one of Tuscany’s, and maybe even Italy’s, feature cakes.

MARGHERITA: This cake was named after queen Margherita who visited
Siena, was prepared in her honour and attributed her name.
The
panforte Margherita features candied orange & lemon peelings and
Tuscan spices, making it very pleasantly tasting, sweet and scented.

Tuscan spices, natural flavorings, starch & wafer.
