The fruit for these tomato sauces comes from Alce Nero member La Cesenate Conserve Alimentari, one of Italy's leading producers in Emilia Romagna. Established in 1949, they chose their location in the fertile Val Mezzano for the excellent climate and soil conditions. The organic tomatoes are picked only when they reach the peak of ripeness and are processed within 8 hours of harvest. The final product is clean, bright and bursting with a fresh tomato flavor perfect for pasta sauces and soups.
