Fresca Italia Pesto alla Genovese

Fresh made pasta sauce, made in Italy










Cooking Instruction: 

FRESCA ITALIA PESTO ALLA GENOVESE

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions
  2. Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water
  3. Place Porcini Mushroom Sauce in a pan with a few TBSP of reserved pasta water
  4. Slowly heat over medium-low heat while stirring frequently
  5. Once sauce reaches a low simmer add cooked pasta and toss to combine
  6. If the sauce is too thick add small amounts of reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached, stirring to incorporate water after each addition
  7. Continue heating for an addition 1-2 minutes
  8. Serve
